The company was built from personal experience, driven by a strong purpose, and grounded in the belief that financial education should be available to everyone.

It all started when Tyler Hampton, the Founder and CEO, was 19 years old. His parents bought life insurance policies for him and his brother, trying to do something good for their future. But they were misled by a financial advisor who cared more about making money than doing the right thing. They lost thousands of dollars and were left confused and frustrated. Tyler realized that if his parents had been properly educated about finances, they never would have been taken advantage of. That moment changed everything for him.

He decided to take action. He studied how money works, became a licensed financial professional, and changed his major in college to Insurance Risk Management and Business Management. He made it his mission to become the trusted advisor his parents—and so many others—never had.

That’s how Strive for Greatness was born.

The company focuses on teaching financial literacy to students and their families, especially in communities that don’t always get the support they need. With clear and simple lessons, one-on-one coaching, helpful tools, and hands-on workshops, Strive for Greatness helps people feel confident about their money and their future.
